Melbourne – Great Food and Wine

After a couple of months back we are starting to settle into Melbourne life. There is a definite change of pace from London, thankfully Richmond is right in the thick of it. I couldn’t imagine living further out in the ‘burbs (just yet). One thing I have noticed is the amount of rain we have had here is massive in comparison to previous years. No real summer to speak of but some days have been ridiculously humid – like tropical Queensland weather!

Now with summer officially over, Melbourne’s autumn has come into its own. Katherine and I along with some old friends headed down to the South Wharf precinct for an afternoon of food and wine tasting from regional Victoria. What a great day it was for it – so lucky!

I must get on with the task of editing the photos from our trip last year… I just keep procrastinating about it! I can’t believe the changes that have happened since we were in the Middle East.

Talking about holidays we’re looking at flights to the UK (and Mykonos for a friend’s 30th) in mid-to-late-August. Hopefully the summer kicks on a bit in the UK this year but I’m not holding my breath!

Anyway – back to these photos!
